Actor Aamir Khan has officially disclosed that he and his partner, Gauri Spratt, will marry on July 5. In a discussion with Variety India, Aamir ended the rumors about his relationship by stating, "I am currently traveling in the US. The news about our marriage is accurate. It is on July 5."
This announcement comes after Aamir previously indicated that marriage was not something they were rushing into, mentioning they were happy living together in their new home. However, he now explains that their relationship has grown naturally. "Yes, that's correct. But now we both believe we are ready to move our relationship forward," Aamir said. Reflecting on this new chapter in his life, he expressed that he feels a strong sense of peace and devotion to Gauri. The superstar mentioned that in his heart, he is already married to Gauri, and this upcoming wedding is a "natural progression of their partnership. " "I feel at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other, and we are very committed. We are partners and we are together. In my heart, I am already married to her," he explained.
The wedding is expected to be a small event at Khan's home, with no grand celebrations planned at this moment. While the guest list has not been confirmed, rumors in the industry suggest that Aamir's friends and fellow stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, may attend if they are available. Gauri Spratt, who is from Bengaluru and works in the wellness and beauty sector, was introduced to the public by Aamir during his 60th birthday party in March 2025. She has a seven-year-old son named Quinn from her past marriage. Additionally, Gauri is the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British Communist who moved to India in the 1920s and later participated in India's fight for freedom. Since the couple made their relationship known, they have been spotted together at various events, including the premiere of Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two kids, Junaid and Ira. He then married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and they have a son named Azad.
