4 election workers charged with fraud

Four election workers of Philadelphia District are charged for violating state election rules at a polling place. PA Attorney General announced on Monday that these workers have been charged with fraud and voter intimidation. This incident took place during March 21 election for state representative seat.

During and after the election allegations of voter fraud, Voter intimidation and electioneering were reported to city and state officials. The four people involved were Dolores Shaw, judge of election; Calvin Mattox, minority inspector; Thurman George, machine inspector and Wallace Hill, bilingual translator.

An investigation showed that workers became aggressive with a voter and in another instance; they told the voter that machine is not working even though it was working properly. Officials said that there is no proof that their actions changed the election outcome.
