TTD To Soon Build Balaji Temple In Banjara Hills, HyderabadPlaces of Worship

The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) has decided to build Lord Sri Venkateswara temple in Hyderabad across 3.5 acres of TTD land in Banjara Hills. Also, the TTD trust board had decided unanimously to build Sri Maha Ganapati temple adjacent to Balaji temple. It is known that a Balaji Bhavan is already being run by the world's richest Hindu endowment body at Himayatnagar, Hyderabad.

Board chairman Krishna Murthy presided over the meeting, in which TTD decided to spend Rs 13.89 crore on the construction of the Lord Balaji temple. Sources revealed that the construction will begin soon with a magnificent structure and overloaded facilities for the sake of devotees.

At the same time, it was decided by the board to allot seven acres of land for the construction of sophisticated eye hospital in Tirupati, to Arvind Eye Care of Madurai. A nominal amount for Rs 1 lakh rupees would be collected by TTD from the hospital management. The board formed a sub-committee for the reviewing of laddu prasadam price, room rentals and arjita seva rates.

More than 20,000 "Swaralatha Archana" CDs would be distributed by the board for free among devotees during Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam. It is scheduled to happen from 30 October to 8 November in New Delhi.
