According to local reports a Philadelphia teacher Nina Scott has been charged for allegedly having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female student.

28-year-old Nina Scott was arrested and charged on Wednesday (2nd Feb) with 34 counts institutional sexual assault of a minor and corruption of a minor. Nina Scott was working at a school, known as “The Village” is a facility specializing in educating students with emotional and behavioral problems.

According to the police Scott admitted to have sexual relationship with a 16-year-old at the school.

The victim reported to the police that the relationship started when she passed a note to Scott asking “How would you feel if I kissed you?” to which Scoot responded that she would not tell anyone.

Scott also told the police that she had written more than 30 letters to the victim.

A Local news agency reported that the 16-year-old left the school, but later investigators found evidence that the relationship continued. According to the police relation between student and teacher lasted till October from February last year.

The school said that after officials were made aware of the allegations, Scott was immediately suspended without pay in October last year and was fired in December.

Scott’s attorney Mark Conte said that it was important to remember that those allegations prove nothing and they are just that, allegations. For now Conte is reviewing the allegations.
