5-year-old calls 911 after parents overdosed drugs

Parents of a five-year-old boy have been charged by the police, after their son called 911, finding them unresponsive on Saturday night.

30-year-old Sarah Williams is charged with endangering the welfare of children and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. And 30-year-old Timothy Kolsky was charged with endangering welfare of children.

According to the police report the 5-year-old directed the police officers to his house on Connelly Boulevard because he thought that his parents (Williams and Kolsky) were dead. Officers said that upon their arrival, they met the boy at the front door and led them towards the kitchen area, where the boy’s parents were lying unconscious on their backs on the floor.

The reports state that, eventually Williams gained consciousness and sat down at the kitchen table. According to the report one officer saw a loaded, uncapped hypodermic syringe that contained a brown liquid underneath her.

She admitted that she took a “Roxy,” (a brand name of the drug Oxycodone), for which she did not have a prescription. She said that Kolsky, who was still unconscious had used heroin. Officers were able to find his pulse, though.

Officers also found a metal measuring spoon with residue on the kitchen counter.
