Starbucks Print ‘ISIS’ on Glasses of Muslim Men in Philadelphia

A cashier at a Starbucks outlet in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, printed ‘ISIS’ on a coffee glass of three young Muslim customers instead of their names.

According to a tweet, the incident happened when three men in Philadelphia, as usual, went to a regular Starbucks outlet they visit in their neighborhood last weekend.

The men ordered drinks and waited for their order to arrive. However, when they walked out of the outlet drinking their cold brews, they noticed that the cashier had printed "ISIS" (Islamic State of Iraq) on their cups.

ISIS is a banned terrorist group accountable for a number of attacks in various parts of the world. The United Nations, international organizations and individual countries designated it as a terrorist organization.

Founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971, Starbucks as of early 2019 operates over 30,000 locations across the world.
