Google has launched a special deal for Diwali, enabling users to sign up for Google One plans that include extra cloud storage at greatly reduced prices. This promotion applies to the Lite, Basic, Standard, and Premium plans, allowing users to access up to 2TB of storage for Drive, Gmail, and Photos. According to Google, those with Basic, Standard, and Premium plans can also share their storage with other people. Google states that all the Lite, Basic, Standard, and Premium plans are available for Rs. 11. This deal lasts for three months, after which regular pricing will resume.
To start off, the Google Lite plan provides 30GB of cloud space for Drive, Gmail, and Photos. It normally costs Rs. 30 each month, but during this offer, it can be bought for Rs. 11 for three months. Similarly, the Basic and Standard plans, offering 100GB and 200GB of storage, can also be purchased for Rs. 11. The regular monthly prices for these plans are Rs. 130 and Rs. 210, respectively.
The best value offer is the Google One Premium plan. This plan gives users up to 2TB of storage for Rs. 650 each month. During the promotion, users can subscribe to this plan for only Rs. 11 for three months. Google mentions that users have until October 31 to take advantage of these plans. The tech company based in Mountain View is also providing discounts for Diwali on the annual Google One subscription plans, with savings of up to 37 percent off the regular costs. For example, the Lite plan, usually priced at Rs. 708, can be purchased for Rs. 479 for a full year, leading to savings of Rs. 229. Similar discounts are applicable to the Basic and Standard plans, now available for Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,600, compared to their typical prices of Rs. 1,560 and Rs. 2,520, respectively. Like the monthly options, the Basic plan offers 100GB of storage, while the Standard plan includes 200GB across Drive, Gmail, and Photos.
Google states that users can save as much as Rs. 2,900 with the offer on the Premium plan, which is priced at Rs. 7,800 for a year instead of the regular price of Rs. 4,900. Just like the monthly deals, users need to subscribe to the Google One annual plans before October 31 as well.
