Indian-American arrested after row over onions in his dish

People have a tendency to go outrage on little things. But have you ever heard of someone going insane because of a vegetable added to his dish?

According to the reports, an Indian-American man has been arrested after he went on a violent and naked rampage, threatening to shoot the staff at an Indian restaurant just because the restaurant added onions in his food.

The incident took place at the ‘All Indian restaurant’ in Oakland, Pittsburgh. Police have arrested the suspect, identified as a 43-year-old Yuba Raj Sharma and charged him with terrorism threats, indecent exposure, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.

Sources say that the suspect left the place after an argument when servers put onion in his dish. But he returned next day drunk and angry, restaurant owner Ravinder Singh said.

The police records say that Sharma was so drunk that he became “dead weight” as police tried to put him inside the patrol car.

Singh said that the suspect visited the restaurant twice this week. He also said that Sharma was eating and "acting belligerent," according to the complaint.

Singh said that Sharma was highly drunk when he returned the day after the argument and was not welcome at the restaurant. That is when Sharma lost his temper and refused to leave the place, reports said.

Sharma allegedly said that he would shoot the owner of the restaurant. Singh said that he saw Sharma make "a motion that he had a gun in his pants."

When the police arrived at the scene, Sharma pulled down his pants exposing himself while verbally taunting Singh and other staff members.

Initially, Singh did not want to pursue charges, but changed his mind after Sharma" continued to shout back toward the restaurant" and ignore police commands, the complaint said.

Singh told police that he no longer felt safe at his own restaurant and wanted to pursue charges against Sharma.

According to the police document, Sharma was so drunk, police said that he was speaking nonsense and a point and also told an officer that “he got into an argument with the staff because he found onions in his dish.
