Joint press conference on Child sex predator ring

Matthew Weintraub the District Attorney of Bucks County and Josh Shapiro, Attorney General of Pennsylvania held a joint press conference concerning a suspected ring of sexual predators targeting children.

The officials laid out details of an Office of Attorney General investigation that they say so far has netted five arrests.

During the press conference in Warminster, law enforcement authorities said the five suspects were charged with an array of sexual offenses against a boy that began when he was just 9-years-old.

Attorney Josh Shapiro said the victim was sexually abused repeatedly by a network of least four men, all of whom have been arrested by the police officers since June last year.

Now, according to Attorney General Shapiro, “The boy was receiving appropriate care, and today they are asking the people for help in finding and identifying more potential victims.”

The arrests took place in three Pennsylvania counties and in Virginia.

Matt Weintraub said, “This case and these arrests cut across county and state boundaries, and the arrests would not have happened without the close, working cooperation of each of these law enforcement agencies.”

Beside Fenske, all other men were charged for sexual offenses, David Parker of Stroudsburg, Monroe County; Jeffrey Harvey of West Wyoming, Luzerne County; Craig Knox, arrested and charged in Virginia, but extradited to Pennsylvania; and Stephen Taylor, also arrested in Virginia in connection with the case.
The boy is now in foster care and is receiving therapy, with a guardian ad litem. The boy gradually revealed information to the attorney general’s about the Child Sexual Predator Unit, which lead to Fenske’s arrest.
